Crendon Farriers Ltd was established in 2007 by Daniel Harman. Daniel started his Farriery career in Buckinghamshire in 1991 when he began a 4 year 2 month apprenticeship with Farrier Carl Bettison A.W.C.F.
Upon obtaining the Dip W.C.F (Diploma of the Worshipful Company of Farriers) examination in 1995 and gaining his place on the Register of Farriers he set up his own business. Daniel has been running a very successful and professional Farriery service ever since. In 2004, due to demand of work he became an Approved Training Farrier (ATF). He has successfully trained eight apprentices that have already qualified and is currently training three more.
In April 2013 Daniel then became an A.W.C.F (Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers) after successfully completing a series of higher examinations concentrating on therapeutic and remedial farriery. In doing this it has enabled him to attain the title of ‘Master Farrier’.
In December 2017 Daniel was granted the freedom of the City of London and also became a ‘Liveryman’ of the Worshipful Company of Farriers.
After two and a half years of studying, in May 2021 Daniel passed a Graduate Diploma in Equine Locomotor Research at the Royal Veterinary College.
