Marian Eydmann

Marian has ridden and been involved with horses most of her life and has always had a very keen interest in breeding and bloodlines.

She graduated with a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and went on to work in cancer research focusing on tumour suppressor genes in bladder cancer. A change of career led to 26 years with Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain as Stud Book Secretary. Amongst other things, this involved the administration of the stallion and mare grading schemes, maintaining covering and foaling records, issuing passports, parentage verification and keeping abreast of the legislation covering the industry.

Marian currently Chairs the AHS Premium Performance Scheme and is a member of the SHB(GB) Breeding committee.
