British Horse Foundation Lecturer Bursary 2019
The British Horse Foundation (BHF) is offering a Lecturer Bursary for a 3-year period, including support for a minimum of three student dissertations through this period. For example, the bursary could provide an opportunity to build up multiple projects under one thematic area or a series of projects that combine to make a publishable piece of work, allowing the lecturer to develop their knowledge in an area.
The lecturer supported will receive a bursary of £1,000 each year for 3 years, and the benefit of support from Trustees of the charity, and mentors, as appropriate.
The application process comprises a competitive procedure where lecturers apply by submitting their application by the closing date. The winning lecturer will receive a bursary of £1,000 each year for 3 years.
To apply, lecturers should register their interest, by 5pm GMT, Friday 11th October 2019 (please note this deadline has now passed and no more registers of interest are being accepted), following which they will be sent an application form. The application form should be emailed to our coordinator by 5pm GMT, Friday 18th October 2019 and should be supported by a senior member of staff at the lecturer’s institution. Notification of the award will be made during the week commencing Monday 11th November 2019.
It should be noted that the charity will not enter into any discussion with respect to any successful or unsuccessful recipient.
